Sometimes because of a virus or some software, the registry editing tool "regedit" ( Accessed by Start >> Run >> "regedit" ), gets disabled. This is quite irritating as you get this message when you try to access "regedit".
Also sometimes, you might want to restrict users to change registry.
Here is a solution for the same :
1: Open gpedit tool ( Start >> Run >> "gpedit.msc" )
2: Navigate to User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> System
3: On the right side double click on "Prevent Access To Registry Editing Tools".
4: Select Enable/ Disable and you are done.
